Research Interests

Research theme is Drug and Discovery of targeting aberrant RNA splicing. It is estimated about up to 35 % of genetic diseases that a genetic mutation causes aberrant RNA splicing. I am tackling to clarify the mechanism / regulation of that small molecule chemical compounds, for example RECTAS that were discovered by Hagiwara Masatoshi Lab, our lab, work on aberrant RNA splicing, also screen chemical compounds to discover a drug through a case of a genetic disease.
